WHO? WHAT? WHY?

Vicky believes in merging the boundaries between art and science to form the sub-heading Biocraft. Biocraft intends to combine the vast amount of knowledge and research being learnt through biosciences by interpret them into a more accessible artistic platform. Ceramics itself involves many scientific processes; from kiln firing to glaze materials, and its adaptability ensures it is the perfect medium to collaborate with scientific data.
Vicky has a keen interest in nature and microbiology and this translates into her exploration of bacteria, viruses and medicine. Microbiology thus far, is a relatively unexplored topic within art movements, yet there are constantly evolving resources through technology development to be inspired by. Not only can Biocraft educate people about microscopic life, but it will also challenge viewers to redefine their perception of beauty; even the most dangerous and lethal diseases can be beautiful.

Vicky also enjoys sketching, painting and life drawing.
