I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. the son of a career police officer.  I met my wife, Traci, while serving in the U.S. Army in Germany.  We have been married for 21 years and have 3 beautiful children.  After living in a few different locations, we moved to Durango in 1999 and knew we had found our home.

Today I am a Deputy Sheriff  responding to citizens needs every day.  I have served as a Law Enforcement Coordinator for the U.S. Department of Justice, a Lieutenant for the La Plata County Sheriff's Office, a Human Services Case Manager, a Corrections Officer, and I am a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm.

My community involvements include:  the Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee, the Sheriff's Youth Advisory Council, the Children Youth and Families Master Plan, and the Durango Youth Football Board.
