PREMISE

A skin-and-bones figure with a bruised thigh stands amidst five frozen rivers.

A constant drip of water falls from the ceiling.

A musicophilia patient and a garrulous housewife converse across TV sets.

Three women   across time and space    sign a pact – to begin the end on a live-streaming camera.

Sands shift,    feet emerge.

We are naked.

SYNOPSIS

The human mind unravels, as souls stand on the edge of psychosis – trying to keep it together as they are falling apart.

Osmosis is a netherworld of mediatized, splintered identities and blurring realities.

A place of longing for ‘something other’ something that doesn’t exist.

It is a directorial exploration examining how the cinematic aesthetic of an original short-film screenplay could be adapted to a live immersive theatrical environment. Using thematically linked texts, devised work and elements of video and multi-media art, the play is a psychophysical excavation at the site of the human body and its collusion with space.
