Our History
The business was started in 1961 doing roofing and general repairs in the Grey-Bruce Area. In 1967, the business was incorporated and began to focus on farm building construction, while starting to distribute grain handling equipment to a small dealer network. In 1973, John Ernewein Limited took on the Westeel line of grain bins, becoming the exclusive distributor in 1988 for Ontario and The Maritimes, while in 1978, the Caldwell line of fans, heaters, and aeration floors was taken on, becoming the exclusive distributor in 1979 for Ontario and The Maritimes. Today, John Ernewein Limited remains these exclusivities and loyalties to Westeel and Caldwell, while providing exceptional construction services. Our company boasts a full portfolio of buildings and strives to provide exceptional buildings.
