Do I even need to explain this one? Out of all the addictions I've listed, I think this is the most common one. These days, pretty much everyone has a cellphone. People use it for calling, texting, play games etc. But there's a point where some people are way too addicted to their phones. Some people even develop something called "cellphone vibration syndrome" which is when someone thinks that their phone is vibrating but it's not. Honestly, I find that kinda freaky. Now before you go and assume that just because you use your phone it means you're addicted, ask yourself some of these questions:

Do you...

  • experience anxiety when phone is misplaced?
  • feel uncomfortable if more than two hours pass without checking phone for messages?
  • experience extreme emotions when a cell phone connection is lost?
  • answer calls and text messages while driving?
  • initiate calls and texting while driving?
  • the first thing upon waking is check phone for messages?
  • sleep next to phone that is on and wake up to return late night texts?
