From 2004 our home is the meeting point of pilgrims seeking accommodation in the Spirit of the Way in Aire sur l'Adour. We're Isabelle and Alejandro, French-Spanish couple and pilgrims joined thanks to the Way.
We have pilgrimage on the Way several times in France and Spain between 1985 and 2021 through different routes and after having been innkeepers volunteers for pilgrims, we decided to have our own gîte only dedicated to pilgrims.
We welcome you to our home in a pilgrims' atmosphere of simplicity, sharing and conviviality.
We're ready to help you on your pilgrimage by providing advice, listening, help and kindness.
This gîte is a 19th century house typical of Aire sur Adour, in the old-town, 100 m from the GR65 (The Way), close to shops and transport. The warm and cheerful decoration make our home a welcoming place.
It is also a rest place with 15 no bunk beds in 5 modular rooms of 2, 3, 4 and 6 beds with heating (for free).
Every evening we make homemade meals and have the dinner together. Kitchen open for free.
