SYNOPSIS

Arghya is a serial killer, with a God-complex and a fetish for human emotions. He believes that emotions blur logical reasoning and thus, selects his projects accordingly.

His apprentice, Zemar is self-absorbed, ineffectual and suffers from a constantly unfulfilled need to please.

When the two form alliances, Zemar finds the lines of his accepted reality blurring in a mesh of conceptual arguments of a hyperreal universe with no origin.

A surrealistic exposition, the film is a meandering journey of possibilities through the fragmented mind-space of a sociopath – where characters appear through the crevices, soon submerging, as the mundane marries the bizarre and folds in upon itself.

DIRECTOR’S  NOTE

“Your reality is somebody else’s bad dream.”

Through the aesthetics of surrealism and absurdism, the film attempts to look outside the social constructs of good and bad, and into the realm of the psychology of individuals often labeled as criminals. To view their life, from their point-of-view  – in all its perverse vibrance and unexamined glory.  

It’s an attempt to glance, if only momentarily, into a black hole ingested with multi-hued light.

Made in collaboration with industry professionals from India, UK and Italy, this is an independent self-funded much-prologned passion project.
