Robin Hood or “Robyn Hode” was an outlaw commonly known to come from Nottinghamshire, although other sources place him in Locksley, Barnsdale or Yorkshire. Hood was a heroic outlaw in English folklore. People recognize Robin Hood to be the man wearing “Lincoln green”  He was a skilled archer and swordsman known for “robbing the rich and giving to the poor”.
