Windsor Dance eXperience is run with the help of people like you. We are always looking for those who could lend a hand. You might be a dancer, a parent, a friend, or someone who is interested in theatre. Remember, these volunteer hours can go towards the prerequisite hours high school students need for their graduation! Volunteers are always appreciated in the following areas:
- Costumes
- Hair and Make-up
- Props & Set
- Stage Managing
- Theatre Lobby
- Lighting
- Sound

NEW workshop committee
WDX is seeking volunteers of parents, or young adults who can assist in the planning and running of a new set of workshops funded by the Triullium Foundation. These new workshops will put WDX in the spotlight, by engaging the community's youth and young adults in areas of theatre management, set design, lighting techniques, specialty dance classes, script writing, and acting classes. With the help of a workshop committee, WDX can provide great opportunities for youth to receive hands-on experience and take their skills to the next level.
Tasks for committee members would include
(but are not limited to):
- Booking and scheduling various guests to teach each workshop
- Negotiating and communicating the requirements for each workshop (including workshop costs) with the Artistic Director, Board of Directors and the guest teacher
- Facilitating the receipt of payment from workshop attendees and deliverance of funds to the Finance Director
- Communicating and assisting in the promotion of the workshops in correspondance with the Director of Marketing

is a local non-profit theatrical dance company dedicated to giving local kids an outlet for their creative and physical activities. Incorporated in 2003, WDX is upon its 10th year of making dance and the theatre experience available to anyone and everyone passionate about performing.
