Helen Robinson is Tom Robinson’s wife.  The two of them have three children.  When Tom dies, Calpurnia and Atticus go to tell her at her home.  When she heard the message, she “fell down in the dirt…like a giant with a big foot just came along and stepped on her”.  Tom’s previous employer Link Deas employs her just to help her make a living, despite not really needing her.  When the Ewells start threatening her as she walks by their house to go to work, Link Deas gets the threats to stop.
