Hi, I’m Nathan Radley, older brother of Arthur Radley. When our father died, I took place of the man in charge at his home where my brother and mom live. One night, I shot a prowler in my backyard.  I realized later it was the kids from next door trying to get a look at my brother. Everyone in this town says he’s a phantom, but he’s actually just forced to stay inside.  I shot at the intruder, who ran off quickly. When I saw that my brother was leaving gifts for the children in a knothole in a tree, I filled it up, deciding it best for him to not have any contact with the outside world.

Dr. Reynolds is the Maycomb doctor.
